DevOps Engineer

We are looking for DevOps engineer you will be one of the developers on our team.  

This is an equity-based full-time co-founding position. The intent is to offer full time employment and competitive salary+ equity. This is going to be with an Artificial Intelligence Start Up looking to make an impact in the various technology spaces.

We need a “Self-Starter” that can write high-quality and designed and tested multiple front-end languages, and libraries, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, with knowledge with back-end languages Java, JavaScript, frameworks Angular React, Node.js. You will collaborate with team members and work across multiple projects, someone who can help us build and lead a dynamic team of software developers.

We are an early-stage startup from a dynamic technology Lab. We’re developing a hybrid cloud-based AI technology that guides users through sophisticated engineering methodologies to help solve real world problems. Our vision is to develop an agile platform to help solve challenging problems.

Responsibilities

Work with the product development team and product managers to define scope of work, timeline and product specifications.
Responsible for overseeing the application development process from start to finish.
Responsible for the overall development and operations team updates to ensure application is delivered securely, safe without bugs.
Manage development and operations team to ensure smooth application deployment and stability.
Responsible for the implementation of continuous integration and delivery of application pipelines for faster release of application including building, testing and deployment.
Must have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and Docker architecture and associated tools.

Experience

5+ years total experience in DevOps.
5+ years of experience using AWS.
Experience building Kubernetes clusters from scratch.
Experience building infrastructure from the ground-up.
Experience scripting in Python and Bash.
Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CDK or, Cloudformation.
Experience working with microservices.
Strong communication skills.
